1 Choose one of the characters in your book and write a letter to her/him . Tell him/her anything that comes to your mind . Maybe you want to give advice , encouragement ,or admiration .
Dear David Balfour,
I have read many stories of adventures . I really like your story. I thought you were a great adventure and you were very brave . Your journey was dangerous , so you got many difficult things and you solved them well. I admire you very much . I'm a adventurous person too , so I was attracted by your story. I hope I could go with you on the same ship . Moreover, I also could see how good you solved those problem and how bravely you fought with bad guys .
2 Explain why you chose to write this characters and tell why you said what you said .
I chose David Balfour because his characteristics are the same with me , such as adventurous , friendly ..... Sometimes his actions make me feel interesting . For example , he had to learn how to serve the meals and he had to prepare the dinner for officers . He is a main character , so he appeared in this story very much , so I could know more about his characteristics . It is not difficult for me to talk about him . Moreover , everything I said , it came to my mind . I don't know the reason why I wrote those things , but I know that I admire him very much because he could overcome difficulties in his life .
